Installation Instructions
Remove the Cargo Sock from the storage bag.
Place the Cargo Sock in the cargo area of the SUV, unroll it and spread it out.
Make sure the rear opening of the Cargo Sock is at the SUV's hatch or back door opening.
(Note: The flap should be on the bottom at the hatch or back door opening and hang over.)
Go to the driver side of the SUV and open the rear door.
Take the left front strap, hoist it up so the left corner of the Cargo Sock is suspended.
Close the door on the strap then lay this strap across the roof.
Go to the passenger side of the SUV and open the rear door.
Take the right front strap, hoist it up and tightly Velcro it to the left strap across the roof.
Go to the rear of the vehicle to the hatch or hinged side-opening back door.
Go to hatch door and rear straps.
Thread each strap one at a time, Velcro face up, through the gap of the hatch door & roof.
(Note: Each one should be parallel down the roof.)
With a hinged side-opening back door: Take each rear strap, place them parallel on the roof.
Go back to each side of the SUV.
Hook the rear straps around the front straps or around the roof rack, fully tighten, then Velcro.
The Cargo Sock should be suspended at this point. If not, make sure all straps are in the correct position and fully tightened.
Helpful Hint: The two front straps should be pushed as far forward as possible. The two rear straps should be fully tightened with no slack.
When loaded, the corners of the back flap can be Velcroed to the sides of the Cargo Sock to secure the load and avoid spillage.
Removal Instructions
Unvelcro the two rear straps first, then the two side straps.
Fold up and place back into the storage bag until the next use.
Cleaning Instructions
It is easiest to clean the Cargo Sock when it is still installed.
For light jobs, use a broom to sweep it out.
For heavy, dirty or wet jobs, spray out with a garden hose, sweep out excess water and allow to air dry or wipe with a towel.
